Shortened schedule

What is a shortened schedule?

On the school calendar there are a number of days following test week which are described as a shortened schedule.

This is a time in the schedule where the lessons in school change from 75 minutes to 55 minutes, hence shortening the school day, this often follows a test week, for example

  • 08:25 - first bell
  • Lesson 1: 08:30 - 09:25
  • Lesson 2: 09:30 - 10:25
  • Breaktime
  • Lesson 3: 10:45 - 11:40
  • Lesson 4: 11:45 - 12:40
  • Breaktime
  • Lesson 5: 13:05 - 14:00

The reason for the change in the timetable is allow for meetings and grade collation between the subject teachers, tutors and team leaders and to discuss individual students by class.
