Malagatrip MP4A

From the 8th until the 13th of March, Mp4A has been learning Spanish in Málaga. Len Robertson, Nanneke Kuipers and myself were the teachers who accompanied the group but the Spanish lessons were given by the people from Clic, the language school. The students stayed with host families in pairs and they had Spanish lessons every day from 9 a.m. until1 p.m. except for Wednesday, when there was an excursion to Córdoba to see, among other things, the famous Mezquita.

Every day after the lessons the students could enjoy their free time which they used to go to the beach since the weather has been gorgeous: every day temperatures varying from 25 till even 28 degrees.

Besides the excursion to Córdoba there were other activities in the afternoon, like a city tour, a visit to Alcazaba and Gibralfarro (a castle and a fortress) a bike tour, a dancing class (Sevillanas) and last but not least a tapas dinner!

It was a fantastic week which had a peculiar ending , since the state of emergency in Spain had been announced just a couple of hours before our return flight to Holland. Fortunately the flight went normally as scheduled and we landed at 12.05 midnight on Friday the 13th, looking back on a great trip.
