Structure of the school

International School Rijnlands Lyceum Oegstgeest is an IB World School and offers  the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme (IBMYP) and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP).

 From age 11 to 16 it offers the five year IBMYP. On completing this programme, students are awarded the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Certificate.

 In the final two years at our school, we offer the IB Diploma Programme. Successful completion of the IBDP leads to an internationally recognised pre-university qualification, giving access to universities and colleges world-wide.

Management

In the international school we have two department leaders who head the department teams. These teams consist of teachers and mentors. The department leaders are responsible for the implementation of the education and the supervision of the students. Together with the mentors, they are in close contact with the students and their parents.

The international school department leaders are:

Jon Symmons (IB-DP)

The management is responsible for the day-to-day management of the school. This consists of:
Erica van Langen (Rector) and Mathijs Hekkelman (Head international school).
